0.016 - 0.05mm ultrafine self bonding enameled copper wire for watch coil

Describes a number of possible const-ructions of bondable wire, having PEW/UEW/AIW base insulation with a thermoplastic bondcoat which may be activated by heat or solvent. The insulation material could be changed to meet different applications.

Self-bonding magnet wire, is film insulated wire top-coated with a thermoplastic adhesive. When activated, the thermoplastic bonds turn to turn windings to produce self-supporting coils or coils of unusual or difficult configuration
